We were well looked after by Andy and Sarah, they made our stay very comfortable and provided us with a super breakfast. Andy gave us lots of information about the area, the local bus service and where to eat in the evening. Very satisfied with our stay.
Great stay at this B&B! Very reasonably priced and good location. Room was spotless, comfy bed, hot shower and very tasty breakfast. Couldn’t want for anything more, amazing value for money.
Everything about our 8 night stay was perfect.Andy & Sarah are great hosts. Breakfast had plenty of choice and was delicious. Our room was spotless and had all we needed to enjoy our lovely time in Sidmouth and surrounding places. Highly recommend as we are very fussy and this Guest House is excellent. We will be returning.
Superb guest house. Free parking on site. Greeted by Andy and Sarah on arrival, who gave us a detailed town map with their recommendations highlighted. Room (7) is up one flight of stairs and at the back of the house, so very quiet at night. Tastefully decorated with modern bathroom and walk in shower. Seating area. Tea and coffee making facilities. Fast free WiFi. Breakfast was freshly cooked by Sarah, with plenty of cereals, fruit etc. also available. If having a cooked breakfast, you are requested to write your requirements by 9pm the previous night on a whiteboard in the entrance hall. To summarise a super place to stay in a lovely town.
Wonderful stay at Sarah and Andy’s guesthouse. Friendly welcoming hosts , rooms are so clean and the breakfast was an added bonus ( so tasty Thanks Sarah) The guesthouse is in a convenient location couple of mins walk to the seafront and the Byes are at the back of the house. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Sidmouth
Sarah and Andy run this beautiful guest house just a few minutes walk from the centre of Sidmouth, all rooms are spotlessly clean and every morning you can have a great British Breakfast cooked by sarah and served by Andy. If you're wanting ideas for a day out just ask Andy who has a vast amount of local knowledge and will quickly point you in the right direction. Private off street parking is another bonus for guests staying here. Give the Groveside a call you won't be disappointed by your decision to stay there.
Andy and Sarah were very friendly and helpful. Guest house within walking distance of the town. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent. Parking good too.
This guest house is situated about 10 minutes walk from the town centre and 5 minutes walk from 2 decent pubs and a cinema. The rooms were en-suite, clean and comfortable with a decent shower. Breakfast was excellent, cooked freshly. Orders are placed on a noticeboard before 9pm the night before. There is ample on-site and with bus stops nearby and bus fares no more than £3, there is no need to drive, as Exeter is only an hour away by local transport. Guest house is a Victorian property with steep stairs so I wouldn't recommend for disabled. But a lovely place to stay, if you don't mind stairs. We will go back.
